Wayne Peltier Awarded Restaurateur of the Year

New Iberia, October 5, 2004 – Wayne Peltier, Owner of Clementine Dining & Spirits and Peltier’s Catering Service in New Iberia was chosen as the Louisiana Restaurant Association’s Restaurateur of the Year for the Acadiana Chapter.  Peltier was honored at the September 20, 2004 Acadiana Chapter LRA Meeting held at Steamboat Warehouse Restaurant in Washington, Louisiana.

The award was presented to Peltier for his 25 plus years of service to the Acadiana community and to recognize him as a leader in the culinary field.  Since the early 80’s, Wayne Peltier has served the community on both local and state levels unselfishly.  With the opening of Clementine in 1999, Wayne raised the level of service in New Iberia, setting new standards for restaurants in the area.  Wayne has a love for food and for making people feel comfortable in his establishments.  In addition to owning two businesses Wayne is actively involved in community and civic organizations, including:
