I am 24 years old, grew up in New Iberia, graduated from Loreauville high, and went off to school at LSU where I studied Photography, History, and anthropology. After graduation I moved back to New Iberia which is when I shot this portfolio. This is my first individual art show. This past summer I put my work in a selective admissions show in the Shaw Center in Baton Rouge (The Art Melt 2005). I also participated in the Art Melt 2004 and have shown pieces in the student gallery at LSU (2004). I currently work at Laville Frames in Baton Rouge, which is where I hand made each of the frames for the show out of recycled materials from abandoned homes. |
